FS: 1984 Classic Miyata 1000 touring Bike

I have decided to sell 1983-84 Miyata 1000. It is an absolutely
beautiful bike, but has become a garage queen. It could be a jewel in
a classic collection or a full fledged, working tourer.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that the condition of this bike looks
like it might have been ridden around the block a few times and then
hung in the garage for storage. Condition is a conservative 98%. I
will even venture to claim that you will never find a 1000 in
condition. It is all original except for the aero brake levers that
I installed. The old levers come as part of the package.

Here are some specs for you.

Standover 31"

TT c-t-c 55cm

Seat Tube c-t-t 54cm

Cranks Sugina AT, size unmarked, but I think 170mm, triple
chainrings

Handlebars Sakae Road Champion Randnner, outer edges, tip to tip
44cm

Brakes new Techtro. I do have the originals if you want them.

Rims Ayara

Tires Miyata (these are likely original and you may want to replace
them)

Shift levers Shimano

Front Derailleur Shimano

Rear Derailleur Shimano Long Antler

Pedals MKS Sylvan. The metal toe clips do have pitting through the
chrome finish, but I left them on because of the cool leather
covering

Freewheel 5-speed. I do have an extra 7-speed freewheel that I
bought to upgrade the bike which I can include for an additional $25,
which is what I paid for it.

The paint is in great shape with just a few handling marks that
aren't even scratches.

Not included, my Brooks saddle.

Price: $800 plus shipping.

My ebay rating can be found at RFCPHD

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any additional
questions.

Oh, if you want to learn more about me, you can find it at my grossly
over embellished website, www.copplelaw.com

Try eBay

You've posted this here 3 times. Bump it, but don't keep reposting the same thing over and over. You are starting to border on spam.

You will donate 10% of the sale price to the Davis Phinney Foundation, right?

Well Bob, Since I've had personal dealings with you

Don't even get me started on polite. Polite is using the site for more than just selling, it's a social site--- and if/when you sell, give something back.

eBay would charge you more, and you couldn't use it as a deduction.
