Kool Stop pads..

Can you guys tell me, these new Kool stop pads:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Shimano-Dura-Ace...QQcmdZViewItem

Are they meant -only- for carbon, or are they a pad that can be used on both regular and carbon rims??
Thanks!

Those look like the standard Kool Stop black pads (dry weather) that are designed for use on any rim EXCEPT carbon.

Maybe I'm missing it, but I don't see where there is anything on the packaging that says they are carbon rim specific, that notation is only in the sellers description.

Bruce,
Look closely at the round sticker on the package (on top of the pads), it says for carbon rims. I have a pack of these, and the pads aren't cork, they feel similar to pads that Zipp put out for all purpose. I can't really find any info on these on the web though. I find mention of them in some product listings, but no in depth descriptions..

Play it safe and call Kool Stop; the website description is a bit confusing. I've called in the past and they answer the phone. Don't forget to report back.
