Crank brothers SL headset

It looks like it's really well made. Anybody used one yet?

I'm going to check out one this week when I make it by the LBS. My buddy/shop owner says they are very cool; also, the new Cane Creek is getting positive local reviews.

I haven't seen one and feel so out of the loop. What's the hubbub about? Do they steer you in the right direction?

If that's the case then I must already have one and be happy with it.

Yes. I've used one for a month now. It connects to your Garmin 705 using the standard ANT+ protocol. You program your route into the 705 and the headset points you in the right way. And an inertial spinning ring in the upper race generates enough stabilizing force that you can ride the bike on rollers hands free without any problem. You can't fall any longer.

Oh. Oops. It's the 2nd, isn't it. Sorry. I was too busy deciphering angry e-mails to OBRA.
