The concept of "favorite artist" just doesn't work for me.

I listened to Mission of Burma and The Moles while working on my taxes this afternoon, if that helps.

All of them since I handpicked virtually every song on the thing. No wasted space on my iPod.

Neil Young - Harvest. It seems to be my go-to when I can't work out what I want to listen to.

Other than that, I seem to listen to quite a lot of Gomez, and Vaughan Williams when I'm in a classical mood. As others have said, it's the diversity of music on the thing that appeals most though.

These days any JJ Cale. Doesn't matter if it's him or a cover.

Pearl Jam, Jamiroquai, and James Brown. I like th classic rock too (Beatles, Stones etc). To be honest though I usually end up listing to podcast mostly nothing makes you pound the pedals hard than listening to politics.

Me too...love To Tulsa and Back plus a lot of his other stuff. Also listen a lot to of Alison Kraus and Grateful Dead. Have my whole cd collection on the ipod but they are the ones that mainly get listened to.

Alison Kraus and Robert Plant at Red Rocks

Coincidence - their "Please read the letter" song was just playing on the radio when I checked this. Have tickets to see them at Red Rocks this summer.
