Poll: New level of communicado with the Boss

Without getting into the particulars, work has been abominable, like the Snow Man; the level of e-mails have increased 20x, sales are down, tempers are up, cortisol patches can be made by taking people's napkins after a sales meeting and I'm shot.

My latest thing is to quote Justin Timberlake. Normally my e-mails are thorough (atmo), but for instance, after a long e-mail from my boss congratulating my efforts, I replied simply, "I'm bringing sexy back."

Is this a brilliant idea? Should my next reply be:

1). "Take em' to the bridge."
2). "Take em' to the chorus."
3). "Them mother f*ckers don't know how to act."
4). "ATMO and ATMO and more ATMO and my opinion is ATMO etc."

take the office to get a pedicure. everyone gets hot pink nails and foot massages. everyone will be relaxed and full of new ideas after staring at their new feet in the shower. plus, its quite hard to scream at a co-worker with whom you've shared that experience.

Adopt a pit bull. He will either calm you down or eat you. In either case you will be better off!

Actually, you seem very frustrated. I would think that maybe you should go to your boss and tell him about your frustrations and perhaps you and he could somehow alleviate some of the obvious frustrations and stress.

Illigitimus non carborundum

I know. It's not _really_ Latin, but it sounds good and fits.

Try that for your next several email closings.

Is somewhat limited but these may come in handy...

I too am in sales, feeling some of the same pressures, I must respectfully disagree with Sandy, I think your attititude is fine or at least normal.
