Italian music from the 90's OT

OK, I know there are some real music buffs out there...

We're doing a "Murder Mystery" party - theme is Italian Restaurant (think South Philly) from the 90's.

Frank Sinatra is a given... who else would be playing in the background in the classic So Philly restaurants (think La Vigna, etc.)... I was there from 95 - 2002, but am drawing a blank!

Thanks!

And it may not fit, but how can one have a party and not play these:

Thanks

Went for the Pavarotti version of Ave Maria...

Also found an I-Tunes essentials compilation for "Italian Restaurant"... Who woulda thunk... and lots of Mario Lanza!

As for the Falco - I'd forgotten about those songs... wow...

Yes!! My two years in Ticino were awesome! The Ticinese laughed at us because they couldn't understand us and we were because we couldn't understand a word of the dialetto ticinese and it didn't even sound like Italian. Maurizio and Illaria and Giorgio were all from up in the hills or near Bellinzona and spoke this.

Bring it one!

I'll burn you a CD when I'm back in town next week.

Well, not exactly all 1990's, but the good stuff nevertheless

Paolo Conte, Fabrizio De Andre', Lucio Battisti, Franco Battiato, The Gang.

Nice call Saab2000. Good to hear that people know who Branduardi is.
