SOLD: DT 1400 Dicut Oxic Wheelset, Takeoffs.

I picked these up recently from the original owner, but I'm going another direction on the build I had earmarked for these. The brake tracks have never had a pad on them, but they were on a bike on the shop floor and have some minor shop wear: a couple of small scuffs on the spokes (photos to follow).

If you want to murder it out, these with their matte finish and excellent all conditions ceramic track would be hard to beat. They are absolutely beautiful wheels, with the 240 hubs. 11 speed shimano FHB. This set is the 21mm rim height version. Includes all original manuals, DT tubeless kit with valves and filler, the special DT Swiss Stop pads, and a DT Oxic cycling cap. No skewers.

$650 net plus shipping. I have a good wheel box.

Info from DT:https://www.dtswiss.com/en/wheels/wh...400-dicut-oxic

Is it possible to swap back and forth between these and regular silver wheel track wheels without swapping pads? I have the non Oxic version of these and looking for a second wheel set.

The pads have a label on them that says, “only use this brake pads for DT Swiss Oxic wheels”

I would venture to guess once you put the oxic on your bike will look so much better they will never come off. My shamal mille and mavic r--sys SLR look better and brake way better than their silver track equals.

generally speaking, using a regular pad meant for the traditional silver aluminum rim track on a PEO / keronite rime like the oxic will result in faster pad wear. this is why there are "special" pad supplied

One would think that DT Swiss, Campagnolo PEO and Mavic exalith pads would all work

Dang... Heck of a deal on these! I paid $200 more when I bought mine!

Regarding pads, don't swap wheels back and forth... Inevitably you'll get little bits of aluminum stuck in your pads from your plain tracked wheels, then you'll scratch the braking surface of these up with said bits. I'm using SwissStop BXP pads on mine and they look brand new with a few hundred miles on them, and some gnarly descents. These wheels don't feel "fast" in the same way that some 50mm deep carbon wheels do, but they are smooth, sound great, and climb like hell!

For whomever scoops these up, if you're looking for the matching, special edition matte black DT RWS Titanium skewers(90g set), shout my way!

Bump and note on shipping. In the wheel box I've got them, Tucson to Silver Springs MD, insured, was $53 via bike flights. It might be a few bucks cheaper with Ship Bikes.

I'm offer shipping as detailed below:

East Coast: $45
Midwest: $35
Rockies: $25
West Coast $30
