The drone work was phenom! Makes me miss SoCal and the Santa Monica mountains. I have to get on the bike tomorrow.

*"will save cycling... If their disregard for double-yellows doesn't kill them"

Nonetheless, some beautiful shots and the main POV guy seems to be a hell of a bike handler!

I’ve ridden out there a bunch visiting family. That’s literally everywhere in LA. It’s incredible riding. I’ve found traffic is terrible, but folks are generally decent to riders.

It seems that a lot of the riding was in the SM mountains. One descent I thought was on Portrero Rd into Camarillo and Channel Island State Univ. but so many of the roads are very similar. Just the best riding in the world.

I was thinking the same thing. Then I watched it again and could see they had clear views of multiple corners ahead.

After years of canyon carving on/in skateboards, motos, cars, bicycles it is a learned art and can be safer than not crossing.

Besides the heat and traffic and dangerous air quality it can be pretty nice to ride down here at times.
