Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra Weinmann livery

I recently picked up this frame on another forum and a friend assembled it for me with parts he has been collecting for years.

Wheels are Campagnolo C Record 32 hole small flange, butted stainless spokes, Mavic Open Pro silver rims.
Crank is Campy Chorus - 52/39 Record rings
Derailleurs are all silver metal Record
Brakes are Campagnolo Veloce Monoplanar
Record hidden cable brake levers
Rivendell sourced Dia Compe "Silver" downtube shifters
Specialized Toupe saddle with Ti rails

Very shiny! My friend who built it up sent it to someplace that does chrome work.

51 seat and 52 top tube

I have only ridden it once because we are sorting some issues with the bars. I have that Toupe on another bike and went that way. I'll see, maybe hunt for a Regal or something.

I won't talk you out of it. I have only ridden it once because we are still sorting some things, but boy does it "go" when you stomp on the pedals.

Finally riding the Merckx and took a few additional photos of all the Campy goodness.

Bike rides great, really accelerates and slices through corners. I have 23s on their now, will put some wider on at some point.
