SOLD: Ciocc frame and fork, idk model

Hi there! I've got a Ciocc frame fork with some interesting tubing for sale. I don't know the exact model, could be DR03? $350.00 shipped in the CONUS.
- serial notes 63cm, measured 59cm top tube
- paint is rough, lots of chips
- no headset
- OR BEST OFFER

Look closely and see the “waffled” or quilt effect. There was one of these we discussed on bike forums a year or two ago but I forget what the consensus was on type of tubing.

The Italy flag embossment on the top tube often signifies a Bilato (quality) built bike.

This, sadly, follows my vow to stop buying bikes that don't quite fit.

Just a notch smaller and I'd be on this.

GLWS, great bike and buy.

Do you know the rear spacing? 126mm or 130mm?

spacing

Spacing is 130mm. Yes, it is the one in Los Angeles. It's pretty cool, definitely more interesting than a bike that doesn't have this tubing.

Never have been positive about the pronunciation. I was told it is "CHOKE". It that correct?

My understanding is it’s “Chuch” or ”Chooch”. I have one and in my head I still call it the “Chee-ock” though.

Ci in Italian is "chee"
long "o"
cc with no following vowel should be "ck"

So "chee-oak", from what I understand.

But I have no idea if they're in a local dialect or named after a person, which could change pronunciation.

Never seen tubing like that! Understated. Pretty neat. Old-skool Eye-talian goodness.
