Serotta Legend Ti 55cm with S&S couplers, travel case + accessories

Serotta Legend Ti 55cm. Stock 55 cm geometry. S&S couplers added by Bilenky. Threaded F1 fork. Classic garish 90s Serotta paint job. $800 plus shipping for frame, fork, travel case and small parts. Dating this to frame to about 1996/1997.

With Kirk Frameworks one-inch threadless steel fork, add $250. This would be a great option for those looking to strip the frame to bare Ti and have an awesome-riding, durable frame and world-class fork to take on a plane.

interesting

i have never seen a coupled bike with the top tube coupler that far forward. but i guess if it fits in a 26 26 10 case then it probably makes no difference.

I asked Bilenky about this in November, and here’s what they said:

“The Legend Ti usually has a top tube that tapers to 28.6mm. The smallest Ti coupler is 31.7 mm, so it requires the coupler be installed 6” back from head tube.
It has no effect on pack-ability.”

Hope this helps!

$800 is what I see people asking for an uncoupled frame, it's a pity this isn't larger or I'd buy it.

Yep. I'd gotten a great deal on it. Just passing it along. Bump!
