Furlough Sale: Raleigh High Life SSCX - Small, Paul, ritchey, $SOLD

SOLD!

Wrong time of year to sell this, but what are you going to do? Absolute rocket of a SSCX bike in the dope Raleigh High Life colourway. It weighs nothing, jumps from the line, and corners on rails. Was my pit bike for several years, occasionally getting some real laps as I'm the world's worst mechanic. No dings, but scuffs throughout. One tine chip on the downtube. Considering how much fun I had on this bike, it's in remarkably good shape.

Size small, I ride a 535-545 TT and this was on the bottom end of that, but still perfect.

Raleigh Aluminum SSCX
Paul rear hub to Major Toms tubs
No-name front wheel with a throwaway tire just keeping it rolling
Campag centaur carbon crank with ATACs
Ritchey cockpit
TRP levers and EuroX white mag canti braks

$SOLD, but I'm here for the offers. Buyer pays bike flights, I'll handle the packing on this end. I'm looking for a GoPro for a partial trade, maybe.

Ugh.. seeing this makes me sad and angry with things. Hope you're hanging in there and good luck with your sale!

Your bikes are nice but don't fit me.
Mostly responding to express my sorrow for your situation.
Sorry man!

Thanks for the kind words all - I'm going to be all right. I'm taking the whole thing a lot better than the last long one and really, this is about tidying up as much as making the mortgage payment.

That said - don't be shy about calling the Congressional Switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and giving your Congress-folk what-for.

I was gonna post earlier but took the dog for a walk first. Anyway, I’ve got a couple of weeks off (can’t work with a concussion) and gonna load myself and the mongrel into the sprinter for a road trip. / some camping... it you’re anywhere between Hudson Valley NY and NC I can pick up and deliver within that corridor... I see the bike sold, so the offer stands if it can be of any use.
