Big Helmet for Big Head / Easy on Hairline

I've had the same Specialized Max for a long time and need a change. I'm getting some hair loss right around the hairline on my forehead where the strap hits - and I'd like to try a different helmet that has a more gentle -- less hard plastic strap around the noggin.

Wear a cycling cap or skull cap under helmet?

I too need a large helmet

I wear a 7 3/4 fitted baseball cap and bought a POC Trabec Race MIPS online, on sale (really liked the style, tech, etc. and took a chance) and it is not large enough. Just an FYI.

Lazers work well for big noggins (ask me how I know!) and have a unique tightening system with a rigid wire all around the helmet.

Sorry for the thread jack, but I also need a new helmet, and also have a large head, but I'm looking for a helmet that will actually reverse hair loss. Any ideas?

I have a catlike mixino and a kask mojito and like both. If you have a really really huge head, POC Octal is the call but it looks like you are wearing a pail.

You could start using propecia like trump for your hairloss and do the combover.

You are losing your hair...if you want to blame it on your helmet well then why not! Welcome to the club btw!...a buddy of mine got his doctor to give him testosterone patches to paste along the receding front line under his POC and that really seemed to do him well...I hear Giro has a new one coming out with little slots for the patches so I hope that helps.
