515ett with a 272mm headtube?! The stack roughly equates similarly to a ~240mm headtube on a 700c fork by comparison. I can't even imagine how short the reach must feel on that bike. I own frames that have headtubes half the length of that thing and they already feel like they are on the laxer side of frame geometries.

Please stop the bull&^%! This bicycle was probably designed for a person with limited flexibility/range of motion. This custom geometry was possibly the only option that allowed him/her to ride at all.

Well said. Hence the "custom" part.

Years back we had a customer who rode a bike like that. The dude had severe problems with his spine -- like couldn't bend over to wipe his ass bad. Serotta provided the elegant solution for him ... still it was ugly AF.

At 10-12mph that guy still managed to pump 3-4k/year.

Exactly. If it gets someone on the bike who biomechanically can't handle an efficient cycling position, and helps keep custom framebuilders afloat, what's the problem?
