How big are Continental GP tires on C17 rims?
Looking to pick up a Campag C17 wheelset and some Continental GP tires (not sure if I'm going 4000 or 4Seasons). Looks like my bike can take max of 28mm with comfortable clearance of ~4mm.
Anyone with these rims have actual measurements for these tires? I'll most likely go with 700x25 size. |

Don't have Campy, but GP4000S II 700cx25 - measures ~27.5mm on my Fulcrum Quattro LGs, those are 17C rims. Same internal width as a Campy C17-correct?

So it sounds like I'll be maxed out with the 25mm tires. I didn't know they plumped out that much. Thanks to all of you for the inputs.
