eeBrake Clearance
Have seen a couple of references to the above average clearance the eeBrakes offer. Wondering if anyone can offer something more objective. Trying to determine if they provide additional clearance relative to my Campy SR brakes. Love to find a little more clearance. Thank you in advance!!

i would say they have more clearance than campy, yes.
i would also note that the length of the slots for the brake pads seem to be much longer on the newest version of the ee design. this longer slot makes me curious about the actual maximum reach of the calipers if a frame/fork was built specifically for them.

Mine is the older version of the ee brakes. They fit 28's. They have an eccentric bolt at the top that allows for more space on the set that I have. They have more room than the campy chorus brakes that I have on another bike. Hope that helps. Great brakes, and super easy to change the pads if you're changing from carbon to aluminum rims, and back again.

I have the pre-cane creek versions and they clear 28.

I have about 3mm clearance in the back so, at least in my case, a 30mm would absolutely not fit. Then again, 2014 version though.
I never had SR brakes but I have never had a problem with 28mm on any campy brake I used (older chorus/record and skeleton centaur)
