Tiz-Cycling Giro, why the knocking sound?

When watching Giro I keep getting a knocking sound, whether I pause the action or not.

I a pretty sure what you are hearing is people making comments. Look over on the right side of the screen.

and iirc there's a mute button for the knocking, if you want to keep the chat but ditch the noise.
