Campy fans, more info!
Well, some of it is old news, but there is more detailed info on everything here:
http://www.riis-cykler.dk/getfile.as...+2007+Engl.pdf If you can't open/download the PDF, this is the text (the pdf also has pictures): The greatest changes are in the cranksets. The axel will be split in the middle and each arm will form an L shape. The joint between the two axels is a Hirth Joint which is highly used throughout the automotive industry. It is joined by an aluminium bolt tightened with 42nm. The bearings are attached on the axel and you will only mount the cups on the frame. The with of the box and Q-Factor are the same as prior and will not be increased by the new Ultra Torque bearing/axel system. Another of the great news is the Skeleton brakes. There are bearings in the joints on the Record brakes. They will still be double pivot. The Skeleton brakes will be available from Veloce and up. Centaur will get a new carbon rear derailluer and carbon ErgoPower shifters. The price will abaut the same as existing Centaur. GENERAL NOTES: All groupsets will be 10 speed All groupsets except Xenon and Triples will get Ultra Torque crankset 3 new triple groupsets will replace all existing triple groupsets The left ErgoPower shifter will be QS (QuickShift) cutting the movement of the change lever in half Record: Only Carbon UltraTorque crankset (alu will not be available) Skeleton brakes in black with bearings New oversize hubs Chorus: Only Carbon UltraTorque crankset (alu will not be available) Skeleton brakes in ”silver” Centaur: Only alu UltraTorque crankset (carbon will not be available) Skeleton brakes in ”silver” carbon ErgoPower shifters Rear derailleur will be much alike 2006 Chorus Veloce: Alu UltraTorque crankset 2 versions: Polished alu and the all new Infiniti (shiny black) Skeleton brakes as upgrade Mirage: Alu UltraTorque crankset Xenon: 10 speed WEIGHT: Savings on brakes (2006 as base): Veloce Skeleton 23gr. lighter Centaur Skeleton 41gr. lighter Chorus Skeleton 36gr. lighter Record Skeleton 33gr. lighter Savings on ErgoPower (2006 as base): Mirage 52gr. lighter Veloce 56gr. lighter Centaur 70gr. lighter (carbon) Chorus Not known Record Not known Weight differences to Shimano: Mirage 125gr. lighter than 105 Veloce 141gr. lighter than 105 Centaur 20gr. lighter than Ultegra Chorus 42gr. lighter than Dura Ace Record 248gr. lighter than Dura Ace TIMES OF DELIVERY (In Denmark, SUBJECT TO CHANGE): Record: December 2006 Chorus: November 2006 Centaur: October 2006 Comp Triple: October 2006 Veloce: October 2006 Veloce Infinite: October 2006 Mirage: September 2006 Xenon: September 2006 Race Triple: September 2006 All wheels should be ready by September 2006.
