Headset standards

So i bought a frame with 44mm headtube.

Came with inset 7.

Got a 1.25tapered fork allrdy, what are my options here?

- get a new inset 8 headset and keep the fork?
If so how much smaller is the external dia of the lower cup vs the inset 7 hs for the 1.5 tapered forks thats allrd on the frame and looks good visually?

- Does king produce a devolotion baseplate for 1.5 cup --> 1.25 tapered fork?

- does the crown size of the forks vary between 1.25 and 1.5 tapered forks? They dont right?
