who has an xc60??

will a 56cm road bike fir in the back with the front wheel off im sure ill have to lay the seat down

I don't have one, but you definitely will be able to. My wife has an s40 sedan and with the seats down and my front wheel off I can fit it in.

I think the question you should be asking is whether you can fit it with the front wheel ON. In my mazda 3 hatchback I could just fit my 54cm with the front wheel still on.

Lying flat in the wagon so only 1 at a time

I can get my short wheelbase Strong road bike in backwards first without taking the rear wheel off. Can do it in my beater Toyota Matrix as well. Plenty of room.......pm me if you want me to measure the inside of one in my showroom.............

Soulspinner im good thank you I have also owned a2008 xc70 but i had to tilt the bike in the back so i was wondering if with the split rear seat could it ft upright

I can put a bike in the back of my XC60 removing the front wheel and only folding down one seat. A road bike without front wheel will actually fit in between front and rear seats. I think that with both seats down, I could just slide the while bike in. Mine is a 2012 for reference. Just got a Kuat rack though, so this won't be an issue anymore. :-)
