Question Whats up with the STICKERS???

I asked my friends - whats with the stickers/decals?
And they say to make it look ugly so people wont steal it.
But I asked - if you have a Ferrari, would you sticker it up as well?

Somehow I don't see that particular bike as one you'd spot outside a coffee shop or other location where it might be stolen.

also would not compare it to a ferrari.
At the end of the day its your bike and if you want to put stickers on it, then do it.

With that kind of drop and overall setup, the stickers probably wouldn't be the first thing you'd be looking at.

I'm guessing you were never the type to sticker bomb your notebook or put posters up on your wall???

That's definitely personalized! I'm not much of a fan of putting stickers on MY bikes but its not something I'm hard lined against... although I have a fair amount of bumper stickers on my car... go figure.

You know, all those stickers kind of go with that bike.

It's a hustle. Some dudes get spiffs to rep brands and so they sticker their bikes. Other dudes copy that.

I like stickers, just not naughty words. That bike is a bit extreme for me.

I had way too much time with those bikes (stickered them up while at school). AC3 wasn't as nice. I'm working on AC4 now, my current red bike.

I challenge the folks that would be stealing bicycles anywhere to try and steal a Ferrari, unless the owner wanted to get it stolen by leaving the keys hanging from the mirror, then stickers might stop a potential thief if the said Mob owned or something. A bike thief either rides off or throws it in the back of a pick up or car. Try and pick up a Ferrari and throw it in the back of a pickup.

Sorry I get your point, it's late and I have been working all day.

More of a toyota than a Ferrari, IMHO..and yup, found outside many 'cool' coffee shops. Needs 'cool' advert cards in the rear spokes tho.

I don't add stickers to my road hog, TT bike or MTB, but I can't say that I would look down on others for doing it...except for the F-bomb sticker on the bike in the OP's pic.
