Flanders Picks!

Nuyens
Flecha
Van Petegem

Boonen puntures at a critical moment or is too well marked

Hincapie watches Boonen too much and misses the move

somebody from Unibet rides 100km off the front and gets major TV time

perhaps with an illes balears rider, a skil shimano, and an euskatel rider in tow.

i love reading about the race from the website, they write funny!

Van Hooydonck preferred Roubaix instead of the Tour of Flanders because the first times in 1987 and 1988 it was a disappointment. He did not like the nervous character of the course in the run up to the mountain zone. On the contrary Paris-Roubaix is less pulling and pushing and much more straight lined. He dreamed of winning Paris-Roubaix. In 1987, 1989 and 1990 he became third each time. With a little more luck and a little more perception he would have made it.

He's been too quite and it's one of hs goals his year. Boonen is another good bet. Let's see who becomes the team leader as the race unfolds. One way or another, I guarantee a Quick-Step win.

I'm going with Roger Hammond. I'd love to see Hincapie busting his butt to get Roger on the podium.

Not VdB unless he's sandbagging in the biggest way since Ali roped the dope. VdB lost 18 minutes yesterday in the first stage of the 3 days of Panne and I watched cycling.tv today as he was dropped in stage 2 by the peloton, struggled like an elephant drowning in treacle as he fought to get back on, and then gave up the ghost.

My picks (I'm avoiding any of the obvious favourites): Flecha, Hoj, Hunt, Hammond.

I think for dekker in 2002.
He's got some form.
I really want to see him go out this year with some wins.
