Rollers season: Sportcrafters mag resistance unit, two alum drums

Ok, I'm biting the bullet and buying the resistance roller drum for my Sportcrafters rollers so I have their magnetic variable resistance unit which I bought with the rollers for sale. Sportcrafters (also privately labeled for CycleOps by Sportcrafters) no longer makes this unit since they brought out their more expensive resistance drum.

For the TrainerRoad users, there is a profile for this unit to give you virtual power measurement. This works well to add resistance to rollers without any wear on parts, tires, etc and is easy to install.

now $70 shipped.

from a web merchant who carried them when they were available:

Plug for this unit. I have my rollers setup with two of these (one on each rear drum) and they work great.

Thanks, Floxy1. [I]Two[I] resistance units? Wow, you must really put down the power! I'm more than fine with this one in the big chainring and small cogs.

Temps here and reduced daylight are driving me indoors for some riding now. I bet many of you are facing the same!

Down to $70 shipped; off to the bay next week. If you're interested let's talk.

Yeah, I've been lazy and haven't gotten around to putting this up on the auction site so thought I'd give this a bump now that more of us are stuck inside.

Also have available two Sportcrafters aluminum drums from replacing the OEM ones with their Overdrive resistance drum in the rear and the Inertia drum in the middle position. If you're running PVC rollers you could grab the drums and resistance unit andbe set at the rear.

$70 for the resistance unit alone, $145 for the whole shebang.
