Are you located near Boston? That first picture looks like the Concord-Bedford rail trail.

Not anymore. That's in West Hartford, CT. This one is near Boston though:

This is what it looks like from my laptop right before I go out for a ride. Peak or past-peak here!

Oh to live in a place that has actual seasons. Will it ever rain here again?

This is why it's called "The Golden State".

Fall colors are not yet in full bloom in my neck of the woods but it's a beautiful fall day while out cycling and fishing during lunch.

With the nights cooling off some, it's getting tougher to keep my pool water above 85. Otherwise....weather mighty nice. Humidity in 50% range, and temps from 55-85. And it's stopped raining every day.

My wife's from Seattle. She says it's only "Golden" for about a week, then turns brown and then, with all the recent fires, black.

Last night was a full moon, it was spectacular. It was in the low 60's the whole time, clear enough that I could shut off the lights when the trail was open. I rode the boardwalk trails in Lexington, the battle loop into Concord and then took the extension of the Minuteman back. The picture is from the boardwalk trail behind the Concord visitors center - even with both lights at full power, none of the pictures from the night ride came out. Gonna have to work on that...
