Are there any women forum members?
It seems like this place is all men. I don't recall seeing any female posters.

Plattyjo works to curb bike theft in the bay area, and extremely well, I might add.

LOL.
I'll ask him to confirm his male status next time I talk to him There's no particular reason I want to know. It was just a thought that occurred to me the other day. When I was on RBR, there were a few female posters but not many. The FB cycling group I'm on has more but it's still predominantly male.

As an aside, out on the road, I see more women triathletes than road riders. Purely a small anecdotal sample but I wonder if it's the same where you live?

I'm only a few miles from Climb but I see more female road riders than triathletes. Definitely more male triathletes over the last 3 years than before, though.
There are a few other female posters here but it's overwhelmingly male, more so than road riders I believe. I have been on a ton of cycling forums and it's the same everywhere. |
