Vuelta a Espana. 2014.

So it's 2014. It's the Vuelta a Espana.
The team and rider list has been released.

http://velonews.competitor.com/2014/...rt-list_341121

What' are the views?
What teams/riders look good?
Insights and observations?

Horner vs Quintana?
Froome vs Contador?

Pozzovivo is out...and Contador said he will be going for stage wins in the last week.

Quintana vs Froome should be good.

Looking forward to the Vuelta after the snoozefest that was the Tour. Glad Conti is racing. Hopefully he is fully recovered and just not letting on, though that's unlikely. With a stellar field, it should be fun.

Personally, can't get excited about the Vuelta. The teams are not as strong as the Tour. I found every day has some great racing in the Tour.

I don't see Horner winning.

Dos que watch the same Tour? Way more exciting than the prior two years!

I think you've volunteered to do it?

Psyched for the Vuelta.
I think the field is insane, lots of huge engines, and the big dogs are hungry.

Quintana, Froome, Contador, Horner...yikes!

And outside of the monstrous favorites...
There are less opportunities for rides these days, less teams w/$, so these cats will be riding b@lls out hoping for spots in 2015.

For the third year running, the Vuelta will be the most exciting Grand Tour of the year.
