Potentially interested in this, willing to ship abroad? (Obviously for a bit extra if needed)

Edit: just realised it's octalink. No can do in my PF-BB30 as I understand? Great deal though.

It's doable. SRAM makes a converter but it's permanent once you epoxy it into the frame.

Not permanent. It would work.

Can someone point me in the direction of aforementioned converter? I may be re-interested...

AND can I just confirm we are talking Press Fit BB30 here.

I've used this adapter with success on a pf30 frame for a very similar application

RTFM:
installation of the bottom bracket adapter into a carbon bottom bracket shell is permanent. The adapter cannot be removed. Removal will damage the adapter and bicycle frame.

Anyway free bump.

PF30 > ENG adapters

Back on track:

This is the "permanent" pressed in version:
http://www.universalcycles.com/shopp...s.php?id=53632

Removable SRAM version:
http://www.artscyclery.com/Sram_Truv...PF30BSAES.html

Removable Tripeak version:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/TRIPEAK-PF30...-/291082325742

Or get a Cannondale SI SRM for native 30mm BB compatibility.

This is all good info, thanks guys, but I have found another solution.

To be honest, surprised this hasn't gone yet. Awesome deal.

Would like for you take your own advice and Read The F'n Manual as you so politely advised me to do. It's out there and pretty clearly doesn't mention anything about permanently installing or damaging the frame during removal. You may have missed the section that is in Bold Print that says IMPORTANT, where it mentions that "installation of the adapter does not have to be permanent".

Yes the adapter can be removed. You most likely won't be able to re use it but it is not epoxied in where it damages the shell. I've used them twice and talked to SRAM About this exact question. What you've said is out there on the webs but it is false. Peter (vecchios) did the first install for me. Perhaps he will chime in.

Totally agree and I've removed them before with no issue. . .because they're NOT glued/epoxied in. Get the facts straight.

The SRAM pf30 to BSA adaptor is glued in. And it is permenant. The SRAM pf30 to GXP is not permenant. We're talking about octalink here so BSA will be needed to thread the cups in.

Nate is right. This adapter needs to be glued in permanently.

Would you even need glue, if you use the SRAM PF30>BSA adapters along with an internal BSA BB? The internal BB would squeeze the cups together, seems like that would be quite secure...unless the plastic adapters do not fit snugly into the carbon shell.
