the boxes in my garage are reserved for mostly automotive tools, and general purpose mechanic stuff, but the basement workshop has the bike specific stuff.

I wish I had something cool to add to this thread. A toolbox is on my list of things to get in the near future.

I went out this weekend to both Home Depot and Sears and was generally disappointed with the quality of toolboxes and chests. I ended up buying a plastic craftsman box for $15 because I needed something to put my vast tool collection in.
Still, what happened to the toolboxes from yesteryear? I remember growing up that my dad had durable metal toolboxes, and I'm sure my grandfather still does. I may need to go over to see what they've got... or will start hitting up yard and estate sales in the spring. Many of the boxes in this thread appear to be quality pieces from the past.
