Bike Cult

I checked out the bespoke bike show in Brooklyn on Friday. It was a lot of fun and very interesting.
There were many cool bikes of all varieties, as well as some local builders of lesser fame.
The venue, Warsaw, was also great, with tasty Polish brew, Pierogi and Blintzes amongst other delights.
Got to meet Steve (aka RedRider) from Savile Road and Peter Weigle with whom I had had a twenty minute conversation about everything from bikes and boats to wood burning for heating.
Thanks to Harry and others for making it happen. Hopefully others here got to enjoy it and the synergies were enough for future events.
On a side note, hoping to meet some more forum members at Dirtphalt next weekend. Great riding here in Upstate NY.

Also - Ezra's auction for his UTA and 'Assless' bikes is going on now. Money is being raised for the visiting Nurse service of NY, and these are some pretty awesome bikes in their own right: UTA and Assless

that johnny coast fixed gear was a stunner and that tomii mountain bike was really nice as well. I thought some more new england brands might come down but i guess they will be in the providence show next month

UTA[/URL] and Assless
I thoroughly enjoy Ezra's bikes and more importantly his videos. Anxiously await more of his movie producing art. Having said that he really needs to check out the Elliptigo bike. I just did from Bruce K's thread on it. It really is all that and then some for those that can't sit on a bike.
