Crank Brothers is still doing an upgrade program in which you send back any of their pedals, and you can buy new Eggbeater 3s (any pedal from their 3 line) for 50% off. I had a few very early iteration ones that I sent in, but I bet someone has some seized or trashed pedals you could get free or very cheap, and then get a pair (or maybe multiple pairs, I think you can get more than one) for $60 a pair. I'm waiting on two sets.

You may want to call them, when I went in to get Eggbeaters, something was sold out, can't remember if it was the Candies or the platforms. Just noticed you were not looking for EBs.
