SOLD: Swift Industries Trunk Bag with Carradice Bagman QR

We had these bags made back in 2010 as prizes for some of our top fundraisers. The "large" trunk bag (now called Zeitgeist Touring Saddle Bag) proved to be too big. We could not put them on any bikes smaller than a 54-56 without the bag rubbing against the back tire so we now only order the smaller version. I have this last large bag still around that needs a good home.

You're unlikely to ever see another bag like this since we only had three made. This was the only time we ever went through the trouble of having the fabric screen-printed before building the bags. As you can see, it is embroidered with the logo of the event I direct. This bag is great for commuting...I have one on my bike and can squeeze in my laptop, a pair of pants and a shirt, and package of Trader Joe's burritos.

Pics of the new item being sold:

The one on my commuter bike:

Asking $200 (shipping included) for the bag and the Carradice Bagman QR Expedition Stainless rack. Both are in brand new condition. The money goes to the Arthritis Foundation.

Thanks for looking!

Got one nibble from first post but no bites. Bump with lower price...since it's my last bag from 2010, I'll knock it down to $180 shipped.

In case it's too loud or too big, I've also got the small Zeitgeist bag + Carradice QR rack available for $180 shipped.

The bags are designed to be used with any Brooks/Sella Anatomica style saddle with bag loops and strapped to seatpost without the rack. That said, I find that the bags always brush the back of thighs when only strapped down to the seatpost. As such, we always include the Carradice rack with the package. It requires about 1 cm of straight saddle rail behind the clamp, so it won't work if you've got your saddle slammed forward in the clamp. The QR version of the Carradice rack also makes it easier to take the bag on and off if you're leaving the bike unattended.

Another thing to note is that the large bag has about a 8" drop between the saddle rail and the bottom of the bag/rack, so they work best on bikes 56 cm and up. As you can see from my bike, it's not an issue on big bikes (I'm 6'2"). We stopped ordering the large one just because it would rub the back tire of anything smaller than a 55. The small bag has about a 6.5" drop.

A man with similar color preferences to myself:

Unfortunately I do not think this bag is practical to my needs, but it's mighty handsome.
