Merckx MAX Corsa Extra -- aka The Missing Link --- SOLD

This is a 91/92 vintage Merckx that is the predecessor to the MXL (aka the missing link). 56.5 TT, 57 C-C seat tube by my measurements. Made with Columbus MAX tubing. This bike has been ridden and should be ridden more. Not a work of art. Numerous chips. One small impression on the seat tube. F/F/HS $550 shipped to the lower 48.

Can email additional pics after I get batteries for the camera.

Depending how bad that "impression" is, I'm thinking this won't last long...in some ways it's cooler than an MXL and in a great team color scheme.

Good luck with the sale.

Damn. Too large

What happened to the down tube decals? I thought they were under a clear coat.

Dunno what happened to the lettering on the right side of the downtube. It came to me this way. The decals are intact on the left side of the downtube.
