Cool Bike Shop in Des Moines

I found this bike shop in Des Moines while on a break from meetings downtown. Great shop, it specializes in rejuvinating bikes, cruisers, fixies, townies...all types. Very cool shop, very friendly folks. Check them out and browse there site. I test out a few, I think I see a project in my future...an rejiggered cruiser....yeaauup!

I've got a 1930s Murray Mercury that I want to do something with. My original idea was a Repack style mountain bike. Now that I know where to get a new springer fork, maybe I will build it as a cruiser.

Yep, that is the sort of project I am looking for. Something with a chilled out gearing, maybe a drink holster on the bars.
