Always a good laugh.

The speed of this year's race was a point not discussed elsewhere (that I've seen). When Cancellara won in 2008 he crossed the finish line in 7 hours 15 minutes. When Gerrans crossed the line the clock said 6 hours 59 minutes - quite a bit faster. Much of it was to burn off Cav, and races generally do seem to be getting ever faster.
