$550 for used Record hubs? Really?

Apparently so. Wow.

Well the 28h are hard to find but that just seems silly when you could get something like alchemy hubs if you need silver...
I would have thought 300ish (which still seems crazy to me)

I should get with the times. Old Potatoe did a build for me a few months ago with 28h NOS Record hubs incl skewers and Velocity Aeroheads. Seems the hubs are worth more unlaced.

I have two sets of 32/28 Record hubs......

I should sell them and get some Alchemy hubs. Seriously.

I was not trying to imply Alchemy hubs are all that or Campy hubs arent great. I have a number of campy hubs that I still use and still roll smooth.

The silver campy hubs seem to have shot up in price mostly because they are silver and while they are very very nice hubs, I would have a hard time paying $550 and change for a used set. If someone really wanted to build a wheelset and needed silver hubs (which I totally get) there seem to be a ton of options before dropping that coin on a used set. Now NOS, I might understand

570.00 inc. shipping. That's $10.18 per hole.

Lucky they weren't 36s.

Just for fun!!!

Both sets are in regular usage. They sure are purdy! I bought them when Campagnolo still produced them and I ordered 2 sets of 32/28 from Excel Sports about 10+ years ago.
