Exclamation Posting problems

It looks like my changes yesterday have caused some type of posting problem such that you get an error when posting a new message. This only seems to be an issue with NEW messages and replying to existing discussions works fine. So until I figure out what is wrong, here is the work around if you get an error:

1 - Post your message with a very short title.
2 - Once this is posted, go back and edit the title with whatever you want.

This has worked for everyone so far, but if you still have a problem you could try reducing the message contents to just a couple of words and then edit this once the message is up.

Cancelled for now => Due to this problem, I will take the forum down for a short time at 12pm EST today to perform some maintenance. This should only be down for 30 minutes or so.

That's not the only problem right now

Going to the URL http://thepaceline.net/forumdisplay.php?f=3 gives the error message
"No input file specified." Going to the old forums.thepaceline.net/forumdisplay.php?f=3 URL redirects me here. Noted Wed Feb 29, 10:45 am.

Thanks for pointing that out. However, if you put a www. or forums. in front of that URL, then it works fine.

Also, all references to forums.thepaceline.net will be redirected to this site for some period of time.

I believe I have resolved the problem posting new messages. If anyone has this problem again, please post a message in this discussion.

BTW, the forum downtime has been cancelled for now.

No one has reported a problem like this before. Are these new messages or are you replying to an existing thread?

Below is the error message I got - maybe the link was too large -it was from Bicycle Quarterly - it was a blog with pics of a 50 year old bike - so cool - love my CF Look, but this old bike had style, functionality, attention to detail and practicality - maybe I am getting old.

This issue happened again for me this am. I got the error message when I tied to post a New Message. I reduced the title to one letter and tried again and it worked. Then went in and changed the title to what I originally wanted to use.
