custom ?

i ride a 57 cm ( frame ) i like a 57 t.t. but i like a 56 s.t.
i like a seat-post with set back and a 130 stem . i forgot i like a b.b. drop of 8
am i a candidate for custom build ?

I think everyone is a candidate for a custom Fixed. Custome can go far beyond just the contact points/geometry.

Hey Fixed, if you really want 8 cm BB drop, then you need to go custom. None of the production bikes have that deep a drop.

Certainly all of us custom builders think you are a candidate if you have money to spend on a new frame Seriously there are always small tweaks that a custom builder can do to try and make your bicycle experience more enjoyable starting with a bit deeper bb drop. If it is a steel bike then we can put in tubing with just the right wall thickness (production frames have to assume you are fat or it will break unless they use heavy tubes). Also if you want the right clearance for fatter tires or fenders then that can be done too. Different builders have different design strategies but it may be that after they fit you some dimension you thought was best can be altered a bit to your advantage. There may be braze-on bits that you prefer or want to leave off and as a bonus, you can make aesthetic choices that reflect your tastes. I've never had a student or a customer that didn't prefer their custom over whatever they rode before. There is always some room between what can work and what is optimum.

Wrong data point. They measure your wallet first. If that fits than you are a good candidate. If not, then buy used.
