Looks like a lot of fun, although lack of brakes requires a lot of trust in equipment and people maintaining system.

Would like to know if that's actual speed or if sped up for special effect. Video seems a little fast.

i'd try that... but only on an empty stomach.
that was a pretty long descent, lots of tight turns = G forces.
i'd estimate the top speed to maybe be around 60-70mph? definitely want a helmet and some goggles, maybe even a kevlar suit "just in case"

I keep picturing an animal crossing the tracks at the wrong time.

reading the blurb, he chose not to use the brake on that run... so I wonder how strong they are in general, say if an animal crossed the track..

Yeah, I dunno... the first one, without catch fences and its 'just hacked out of the woods' look, was best, IMO...

People in the Alps are never short of ideas to entertain summer tourists. I like this one too. Cable length a bit less than 1 mile. Speed 120 kph

That is great. As close to flying like Superman as most of us could get.

That's a lot of fun. I wouldn't want to become derailed and hit one of the many tree stumps on the course (well, anything for that matter).

Those animals and their future offspring have been self-selected out of the population by now.

That ride looks like a blast. My daughter and I went on a similar ride at Big Bear that runs on a concrete track but it's probably 1/10th as long as this one and I was still all over the brake.
