PSA: Lake CX401 shoes

I hate to do this but for those looking for new shoes to break in over the winter, Bike Nashbar has the lake cx401 shoe in black for 199 less the 20% black friday discount. So 160 or so for what are some of the nicest shoes I have had. They do have the speedplay models in stock as well which is what I use and no need for an adapter.
I dont work from them or even particularly like them but that is a smoking deal for an udner the radar top level shoe

Just bought a pair of the Speedplay-specific model. These are some of the best shoes out there. Way cheaper than wholesale.

Edit: Thanks for the heads-up, Ryun.

For me, they run a half size bigger than specialized or sidi and maybe slightly wider

Thanks Ryun! I just ordered a pair in 46. Back in the 80's I used to ride with AXO kangaroo leather shoes (Roberto Visentini model) that loved. Can't wait to slip these on.

Those are some seriously nice shoes. If they had my size I'd have gotten a pair immediately.

Thanks for the heads-up. Did you use a code for the 20% black friday discount, or did you qualify based on your sign-in and perhaps being a Nashbar Member in good standing?

Yup, awesome shoes, I fit a 48 Sidi and a 47 CX401. I ride them in white (thought I got a great deal on them at $225 off Ebay), think I'll grab a black pair for wet days.

Thanks Ryun
