Titanium Frame Repairs/Modifications
All,
I have a titanium frame that I am looking to have the rear dropouts replaced. Any recommendations on frame builders for a project like this? Thanks, pys |

+1 to Dave Levy @ TiCycles. TiCycles once did the repair work for Moots, and the outfit is highly regarded.

Chris Dekerf may be able to help as well. He lists ti repairs on his site.

Bilinkey in Philly will do almost anything.

OP keep us posted on who you use and how they work out! I am really interested to learn more about this type of work.

I love my custom Habanero all road frame designed around Paul Mini Motos. But I'm also really curious about the new SRAM 13 speed stuff, so I'm dreaming of having a UDH hanger welded on. Am I nuts?

Bilenky does Ti repair as well.

You can probably get a new chinese-made titanium frame in the same geometry and tubing as your Habanero for the same price or less than what it would cost to retrofit your current bike.
