He was also Marcus Aurelius "Gabby" Hayes in two episodes of "The Rockford Files," with Isaac Hayes. Classic TV.

I enjoyed his performance in Enemy Mine. IMO an underrated film. RIP, Mr. Gossett.

Bummer. Its wierd (at my 52 yrs of age) to see the actors/pop culture/music stars begin to die of or get infirm. As a bald guy, Bruce Willis was always a hero for us balding guys. Sad to see.

here's my Kevin Bacon Law of 6 degrees story...

David Keith is married to my wife very good friends cousin. So I met him (David Keith) at my wife's good friends wedding. I also share the Gossett surname, but he does not show up as related to me on 23 and me so far

He’s getting older as well, but for now you have Larry David. He’s very much a standard bearer for the oppressed bald people of the world.

RIP Lou.

I'd completely forgotten about that movie. He was great in that.
