Lets see that all cleaned up. Looks like 7400 hanging on it.

I just need a brake lever if I'm not mistaken, but it's possible they will also need a rebuild. The bike looks to be unridden for the past 19 years. Here are some pics.

It's all mixed up at this stage, but the Rd, HS and brakes are 7400.

planning on building it up with something new or keeping the mishmash of parts on there? FWIW, I've always thought those 10th anniversary frames were so elegant with the flat crown and internal top tube cable routing.

I have a new chorus 11 group and a 9100 group both sitting here, so I'll likely just build it up with a new group. I wouldn't be opposed to building it up with classic 7400 or even better c-record, but in reality I already have some modern options.

yeah put the modern campy on that merkcx and ride the hell out of it. Have always LOVED the 10th ani paint, probably one of my favorites... even more than the universally favorite motorola (which I also like less than the telekom)

Yup, that's probably going to be a project for this week. It's my favorite of the paint schemes and I used to have one that was beat to hell and it road wonderfully. This one is prettier!

I get it, but I don't have the other parts accessible at the moment. If I had a silver campy group it'd be going on this bike, but as it sits I don't see it happening just yet.

The Merckx is my kind of bike and the Bianchi is nice. Looking forward to riding both in the near future.

I would install chorus 11 on the Bianchi and place the record 9 on the Merckx. Unless you want to climb on the Merckx.
I believe you could buy that broken lever part. Where is old potatoe?

I believe that broken lever part is still selling.
I may do just that. The silver bits are chorus with the exception of the Rd. I'm in the foothills of the Adirondacks so there is always some climbing to do.
