83 Bianchi Specialissima X3

This is my 1983 Bianchi X3. The original owner purchased it from the Bianchi factory during a trip in 89. It was a team bike that had for whatever reason sat unused.

*I will be fixing that short chain

I would love to have that bike in my size and that condition. When that was a new bike I was in the army stationed in Ft. Ord California. A fellow soldier used his enlistment bonus to buy a very similar if not the exact same bike. I lusted after that Celeste green then, and still do now.

Thanks guys! Yeah, it was an awesome find. All the details are perfect. I just need to replace the rims and find correct freewheel and pedal straps.

Hmm that seatpost looks rather special or is this a common post that i somehow missed to see before?
