Lemond Poprad Modernization Project

I have always loved these bikes and been on the lookout for a 59 for a while. Got one that could use some TLC a couple months back and should have it from powder next week.

Here’s what’s in store:

I've wanted to do the same.

I have a sweet 2006 Poprad but always wanted the disc.

Looking forward to seeing the build.

Trying to decide. I’ve got both on hand. I’m leaning towards mech for this and put the hydros on the bike that will do more off road stuff. This is going to be more of an all rounder.

Inspiration thread for me--looks like it'll be awesome. What color is that? I think I see yellow, but then I see kind of mango.

I have no idea but I found a pretty exact match from prismatic powders.

I was walking down the street and saw this super beat up old volvo in someone's yard and knew I had to have it on a bike.

Bad news. Powder coater is in the hospital and sounds like it may be a bit serious. On hold for a few weeks probably unfortunately but not all that important in the grand scheme of things.
