PARLEE Z5 Si

I got this PARLEE Z5 Si F/F/HS off the 'Bay for such a great price ($760 shipped), I couldn't pass it up. It's size (X)Large "TALL". The frame is designed to accept either a battery powered group or a mechanical group...I chose the latter. Let me tell you, though, that trying to run derailleur cable/housing through this thing (with zero guide wires/introducers of any type) presented me with what is probably the most difficult and challenging build that I've ever had. Man, it was a job, but finally got it done. The ride is as stiff and as lively as I pretty much knew it would be and I think Ultegra 8000 is the perfect spec for this frameset in terms of aesthetics. I threw in a few blue accents just to add color. 25's is/are the biggest you're going to get on this frame...just a few mm of rear clearance from each side of the inner CS's, but rides beautifully with Belgium + Rims and 25C's....no rub. VERY sweet bike...just another ride that I needed like a hole-in-the-head...couldn't help myself. Time for an intervention!

Looks great Jeff! Internal routing can be a real pain... I haven't invested in a tool for it yet, so I'm always diy'ing.

Parlees are just such good road bikes. I have the Z5 (the fat one which still weights nothing) and I really love that bike.
