I don’t have much time yet on 12 speed. It does seem to shift better than Record 11. I enjoy both 9100/8000 and Campy. For me the change was mostly about going all in and embracing riding a modern lugged steel bike. The quirkinesses (character?) of Campy just seemed to me to fit. Nothing at all against 9100. It’s great and I’m keeping the 9100 group that came off this bike for the future.

Thanks! Your Battaglin was part of what got me thinking about making the change.

Just trying to do justice to the frame, in the build and in the riding.

Debated the Boras. I’m happy with the end result though.

Enjoy the Campy. My new Kirk I changed to DA9100 and think its great. I have been a Campy guy forever but all the brands work great. Btw your Kirk looks perfect.

Such a nice looking ride!

I say keep the cages as is. They provide a nice balanced highlight along with the chain, cassette, seat post binder and badge.

Agreed - I like the Ti contrast on mine too.. Was just noting the spare-no-expense option.

In that case, go for the silver Cerakote option

Interesting. I hadn't seen those before. I'm happy with things the way they are though (thankfully)

That said, if I had Super Record I could probably be persuaded to get Cerakote cages
