Saddle like Flite?
I thinking of trying a new saddle. I ride Flites and San Marco Titanio 200 saddles now. I'm looking to try a more modern saddle.
Any suggestions? |

I have Flites on all my bikes. The Fizik Aliante feels similar to me.

If it's the original flite there really is nothing like it. It has that more flexible base that just works. Any of the newer ones have a harder base. Some may like it but to me the original is where it's at. Have one on every bike I own.

I had the first gen Flite and really liked it. I've now turned all my bikes to the Vertu plastic web saddles. YMMV of course, but they're also so inexpensive that if it doesn't work, you're not out much money.

I'll second the Fabric Scoop.

Third for the Fabric Swoop. My first thought on it was "Huh, these just feels like a Flite".

Which one, exactly? The flat? Shallow? Radius?

I switched from the original Flite to the first gen SLR. Later versions of the SLR don't work for me, though...

Look on eBay for a Fizik Kurve.
The Snake (Arione) shape is somewhat like the Flite. I prefer the harder tuning nose, but if you like the flex/hammock-like feel of the Flite, use the softer tuner on the Kurve. These aren’t made anymore and you can buy them NOS for just over $100 on eBay. For me, it’s the most comfortable saddle I’ve used.

I decided I was more comfortable on a wider, flatter saddle than the Flite, so I went to a Fabric Scoop Flat, which I quite like. So you probably need to consider the Shallow or Radius.
