Colnago paint is pretty cool, isn't it? Especially when it's one of the team paint schemes like Rabobank, Lampre, Mapei, Navigators, etc.

The paint on my C50 is pretty cool as well. It's the only C50 that I'm aware of in the States that has the tri-color paint scheme.

Congrats on the new ride w-pal and good for you! “Proper” is set up the way you want for comfort-not just for it to look like a magazine, catalog pic or to appease forums.

I think you're going to really enjoy the c40-traditonal Colnago handling with a pretty unique combination of comfort and responsiveness. And, yeah, the paint detail-particularly the fade from clear to color. Rode mine yesterday, always brings a grin.

That big pin on your chainring is supposed to be behind the crankarm, right? So the chain doesn't get stuck between the ring and arm?

it looks quite good!

actually a lugged carbon colnago was one of my first "good" bikes that i was able to ride and really sparked my love for riding. very nice.

the components dont matter. as long as they shift, it's good.

you do realize, however that that little nub on the big chainring is supposed to be positioned behind the crank arm though, right? it's intended purpose is to make sure a dropped chain doesnt get stuck between the crank arm and the CR.

No. It's oriented like that to ensure the chain gets stuck between the ring and arm.

Weisan pal. Here's the long-lost brother to that one you just picked up from me Just showed up today!

I figured this would go straight to a repaint, but surprised at the excellent condition and colors. I have to figure out how to sneak this to Austin next month :-)
