Remove labels from Kalloy Uno post?

I tried pure acetone and elbow grease- my white rag started turning black but gee at the rate I was going I’d rather just use steel wool and lose the anodizing. Any other ideas?

If you're confident that the post is anodized I would say paint stripper is the next step.

It might be a laser marked label rather than painted. Does it look silver or white? If Silver it is laser marked and won't come off unless you strip anodizing. Just a guess, I do not have one to look at.

I use a few barely damp sugarcubes to rub the graphics off Kalloy SP-267 Uno seatposts. Works like a charm.
