Love seeing Steve Bauer in his prime. He got robbed the year prior at Roubaix.

well, and kind of robbed at the World's too...

.. kind of? I still can't help but wonder who got paid off there. And then the subsequent (frivolous) lawsuits.

e- to be fair Fondriest was the strongest and freshest, but I still think the DQ was uncalled for and partly the result of his reaching for his DT shifter.

I got a kick out of the versions of shifting on the team bikes. From barcons to STI. No one was riding the same thing!
